It is almost impossible to believe that more than 4 years have passed since I last updated this page and 11 years and 2 months since the day I was told "it's malignant." Our lives have returned to normal - or as close to normal as any family in the 21st century can be. We have a new grand daughter - Joanna - and the little baby , Kayla, from the 2007 page is now in kindergarten.
I have two choices here: either I can fill in all the details that went into our lives over the last four years or I can just leave it at "as close to normal as possible considering."
